Rifle Wielding Suspect Opens Fire at NJ Bus Station in Old Bridge

Police in Old Bridge are on the search for a man who fired multiple rounds at a bus station then ran from the scene Monday evening.

According to New Jersey Transit officials, several shots were fired just before 4 p.m. at the Old Bridge Park and Ride sending customers scrambling from the area.

There were no reported injuries to the four people who were waiting at the bus shelter.

The rifle-wielding suspect then sprinted towards the housing complex according to police.

Witnesses say the suspect was a black male who wore a brown mask, a green bandana, a gray sweatshirt and black sweatpants.

Police say no arrests have been made and no injuries reported.
