A Hudson County motorcyclist was rushed to Jersey City Medical Center for treatment after crashing in Jersey City Thursday evening.
It happened near the intersection of John F. Kennedy Boulevard and Orient Avenue around 6:45 p.m.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene and found the rider ejected from the bike after a collision that involved a truck. The impact of the crash caused the motorcycle to wedge under the vehicle.
Authorities say the victim suffered a severe head injury.
Jersey City temporarily closed the intersection for the investigation.
No other injuries were reported.
