Ride that Killed One, Injured 7 Others in Ohio Fair was Operated by NJ Company

New details emerge as authorities investigate what caused the famous 'Fireball' ride, operated by a Middlesex County company, to kill one person and injure seven others at the Ohio State Fair.

Fireball reportedly swings riders 40 feet while spinning riders at 13 revolutions per minute, was among this year's rides at the Meadowlands State Fair.

Amusements of America, based in Monroe, has yet to issue a statement in regards to the incident.

A video recorded by Julian Bellinger, a bystander waiting to get on the ride, captures the dramatic moment when the ride malfunctioned and broke apart.

One person succumbed to injuries sustained while three of severe others injured remains in critical condition.

Also, the Ohio State Fair is set to reopen today; the rides will be running until they are all deemed safe.
