Reports of an armed robbery of a hotel sent has police in Newark investigating this morning. Police responded to the Howard Johnson Hotel located on the 100 block of Frontage Road around 3 AM this morning where suspects reportedly armed with weapons, robbed the hotel. Police are looking for two black males approximately 5'10" tall, that fled in a dark colored pickup. One of the suspects wore a grey vest while the other reportedly wore a hoodie.
It was not immediately available how much proceeds was taken by the suspects during the robbery.
There were no reports of injuries.
