Middlesex County officials announced that REPLENISH, Middlesex County's food distribution organization, distributed 960 hams and 2,160 chickens to almost 70 pantry partners to benefit residents experiencing food insecurity ahead of the Passover and Easter holidays.

These donations were made possible through funds raised by Feeding Middlesex County, MCPO officials say.
According to Middlesex County officials, Middlesex County Deputy Director Shanti Narra, Commissioner Charles E. Tomaro, and Saint Joseph High School students were on-site to help the REPLENISH team distribute donations.

HOW TO HELP
To help keep its shelves stocked, REPLENISH accepts donations of non-perishable foods and basic supplies year-round, Middlesex authorities said.
MCPO officials stated that individuals can drop items off from 6 am to noon, Monday through Friday, at the REPLENISH Distribution Center at 28 Kennedy Boulevard, around the back of the building.

Additionally, monetary donations are always accepted as checks payable to “Feeding Middlesex County,” Middlesex officials said.
MCPO officials say that checks may be mailed to PO Box 781, Edison, NJ 08818, or donations can be made online via the Feeding Middlesex County website at www.feedingmiddlesexcounty.org.

Individual donations can also be made year-round at any of the permanent collection sites located at libraries in East Brunswick, Edison, Metuchen, Monroe, North Brunswick, Perth Amboy, Piscataway, Plainsboro, South Amboy, South Brunswick, South Plainfield, Spotswood, and Woodbridge.
