Newark and the surrounding North Jersey region are waking up to another crisp and refreshing morning, offering my friends and family a welcomed break from the sweltering heat of recent weeks.

As of 4:40 a.m., temperatures hovered around a cool 66 degrees, with light breezes creating ideal conditions for early commuters and morning joggers.
For many, the pleasant shift in weather is a relief after enduring a summer marked by extreme heat and humidity.
According to the National Weather Service, the area can expect a mostly sunny day with highs near 76 degrees. Winds will shift from the northeast to southeast at speeds between 6 to 10 mph as the day progresses.
While some rain is possible later, forecasters are not predicting a washout.
The evening will bring increasing clouds with a low of around 66 degrees, maintaining the comfortable trend.

So whether you’re heading to work, school, or just out for a morning stroll, enjoy the cool breezes and sunshine, because in New Jersey, these perfect late-summer days don’t last forever.
