We are warming up and finally feeling much better than we have over the last couple of days as the rain moves out and a more pleasant stretch of weather begins across Newark and the North Jersey region.
Good morning, Jersey, and welcome to Tuesday!
It is currently 61 degrees in Newark with no precipitation, and after the soaking we received over the weekend and into Monday, we can definitely say that is an awesome way to start the morning.
We are finally drying out, and conditions should continue to improve as we move through the week.
Around New Jersey this morning, temperatures are sitting at 59 degrees in Somerville, 60 in Trenton, 64 in Toms River, 60 in Paterson and 57 in Sussex County.
It is quiet outside as far as precipitation is concerned, and temperatures will warm nicely as we move through the day.
According to the National Weather Service, some areas could experience patchy fog before 10 a.m. Otherwise, skies will become partly sunny, with a high near 72 degrees.
Winds will remain calm early before becoming northwest at around 6 mph during the morning.
Tonight will be partly cloudy and comfortable, with temperatures falling to around 58 degrees and calm winds.
After several days of dreary, wet weather, Tuesday finally gives us a chance to dry out and enjoy a much more pleasant day across the region.
