Police are investigating a racist message left in the stall of a South Orange school bathroom.
According to letter sent Tuesday to South Orange Middle School parents, the graffiti reportedly included the n-word while making reference of lynchings.
The incident, which is being investigated as a hate crime, allegedly led school officials to hold several assemblies to address the incident with students.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
