The Q4 Checklist For Marriedpreneurs

New Jersey

By: O.L./Sway Buckley

Planning decreases anxiety.

Even though some of us perform really well under pressure, imagine how much more thoughtful and brilliant we would perform when our ideas have marinated over time.

We can get so accustomed to performing well under pressure that we can feel as if we don't perform well UNLESS we're under pressure. That mindset can lead to costly lessons but also lost opportunities because of ill-preparedness.

Q4 MasterclassThat's not to say it isn't great to perform well under pressure; rather, it's better if that isn't the norm. Sometimes, our 'norm' can appear healthy.

But just because something is 'normal' doesn't mean it's healthy. The primary way to grow in personal development is first through exposure.

If we aren't exposed to what's possible, we'll believe there's only one way to 'win.'

When, in fact, there may be only one way that YOU know of to win.

Planning for the 4th quarter of the year helps you position yourselves better to finish the year strong with a solid strategy with mile markers. Unfortunately, far too many visionaries fail because their vision doesn't have a solid execution strategy to bring it across the finish line.

Team JasperCheck this stat:

5% of leadership teams spend less than one hour per month on strategy, and 50% spend no time at all on strategy.

(Harvard Business Review, 2005)

According to the Harvard Business Review, 50% of leadership teams spend NO time on strategy. If you decided to spend at least one hour a month on strategy to execute the vision, you'd be among the top 5% (if you aren't already).
