Police took two suspects into custody after a pursuit that ended in a crash in Newark's East Ward on Monday afternoon.
The incident ended in the area of Mulberry Street and Chestnut Street a little after 12:30 p.m. when officers attempted to pull over a vehicle that was reported stolen according to reports.
The car sped away and crashed into several vehicles in the East Ward community reports said.
One of the suspects was taken to an area hospital after he suffered non-life threatening injuries.
There were no injuries to any law enforcement officers.
The incident is under investigation.
