Prostitution Sting at Massage Parlor Ends in One Arrest in Warren Township

​WARREN TOWNSHIP, N.J. – Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson, Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Chief of County Detectives John W. Fodor and Warren Township Police Chief William E. Keane announced the arrest of Guiyu Piao, 49, of 35th Ave, Flushing, NY.

Prosecutor Robertson stated that on January 6th, members of the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Organized Crime and Narcotics Task Force (OCNTF), along with members of Warren Township Police Department, conducted a quality of life investigation at Unique Massage Therapy, located on Mountain Boulevard, Warren Township.

The investigation began with complaints by concerned citizens in reference to acts of prostitution being conducted at Unique Massage Therapy.

Prosecutor Robertson stated that a Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office undercover officer entered Unique Massage Therapy where he later met with defendant Piao. During this meeting with defendant Piao, the undercover officer was propositioned by the defendant for a sexual act in exchange for U.S. currency.

Task Force members then entered Unique Massage Therapy and placed defendant Piao under arrest without incident. Defendant Piao was transported to the Warren Township Police Department where she was charged with Prostitution, a disorderly persons offense, and subsequently released on her own recognizance pending a Municipal Court appearance.
