Police are conducting a shot fired investigation on a street in Elizabeth after a gunman fired several times at unknown targets during the overnight hours.
According to preliminary reports, gunfire erupted in the vicinity of 4th and Marshall streets at around 12:30 a.m. where officers arrived to find evidence that a shooting occurred, but after a search of the area, there were no injured victims found.
Police say during their search of the scene, a vehicle was struck by a bullet.
The suspect ran from the scene immediately after the shooting and remain at-large.
