Primark has announced that they are recalling Nose Piercings and Body Bars sold at the store due to high levels of nickel in the product
As of February 17, Primark has recalled their 5-Pack Nose Piercings and Body Bars that were sold in US stores in the northeast region, Florida, and Chicago from August 2020 through December 2020.
The following items with these product numbers are part of the recall:
5 Pk Nose Piercing (white) - 4102701 5 Pk Nose Piercing (yellow) - 4102702 Body Bar (white) - 2064701 Body Bar (yellow) - 206470
The Consumer Product Safety Commission reports that the high levels of nickel found in these products cause skin irritation.
They have also said that anyone with these products should immediately stop using them and return them to a Primark store to receive a full refund.
