While there were no New Jersey winners of the Powerball jackpot, second or third-tier prizes for the Wednesday, July 20 drawing, 62,253 New Jersey players took home an estimated $293,353 in prizes ranging from $4 to $200, according to Lottery Executive Director Carole Hedinger.
This was the 21st game draw since the last jackpot was won on May 7, 2016 by a New Jersey Lottery ticket. That ticket was claimed by the Smith Family winning a cash prize of $284 million.
“Congratulations to the fortunate lottery players who have winning tickets,” said Hedinger. “These lucky players join the growing ranks of New Jersey Powerball winners.”
The winning numbers for the Wednesday, July 20 drawing were: 06, 25, 35, 58 and 66. The Red Power Ball number was 05. The Multiplier number was 02.
The Powerball jackpot rolls to $390,000,000 for the next drawing to be held Saturday, July 23 at 10:59 pm.
