Powerball Grows to $1.9 Billion After No Winners for Saturday’s Drawing

New Jersey lottery players have yet another chance to become multi-billionaires after the jackpot is expected to soar to $2 billion before Monday's drawing.   

The winning numbers were 28-45-53-56-69 and the Powerball was 20.

NJ Lottery officials said The Powerball jackpot has grown to an estimated $1.9 billion after no winning tickets were sold in Saturday night's massive drawing. 

The odds for ticket buyers to take home the massive price is 1 in 292.2 million.

With no winners, Saturday Powerball officials said this would "tie the game record for the number of consecutive drawings without a grand prize winner. 

Saturday's record-shattering jackpot will have a lump-sum option of an estimated $782.4 million. 

Powerball tickets are $2 per play and are sold in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands, according to Powerball officials.
