Newark Police officials are reporting a power outage in a section of the city's North Ward at this time.
Officials say the outage is in the area of Bloomfield Avenue to Davenport Avenue and from North 11th Street to North 3rd Street.
Police say officers are providing traffic assistance at this time. PSEG officials say the outage is due to overhead equipment failure and should be resolved y 4 p.m.
