Port Republic Elementary Choir Teacher Accused of Sexually Assaulting Male Student

The New Jersey State Police have arrested Brian McSee, 53, of Port Republic, N.J. for allegedly sexually assaulting an underage male student.

During a week-long investigation, troopers discovered that the victim was McSee’s choir student during 7th and 8th at Port Republic Elementary School. Police said McSee also served as choir director at the victim’s parish, St. Paul’s United Methodist Church.

Detectives from Tuckerton Station determined that McSee had been sexually assaulting the juvenile victim twice a week for the past three years. On December 13th McSee arrived at the station where police arrested him without incident.

Authorities charged Brian McSee with aggravated sexual assault, official misconduct, criminal sexual contact and endangering the welfare of a child.

A judge ordered he be lodged at the Atlantic County Jail pending a mandatory court appearance.
