A man accidentally ran over his wife with his pickup truck causing fatal injuries.
Police responded to a Pompton Plains home Thursday at approximately 9:20 a.m. after a neighbor called 911 reporting an injured person.
Officials said Ann Weisse, 67, was shoveling at the end of the driveway when her husband, Frank Weisse, backed the truck over her.
According to police, EMS airlifted Weisse to Morristown Memorial Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
The incident is under investigation.
