Authorities Wednesday seized $50,000 worth of the drug after a raid at a city beauty salon, authorities said today.
The city’s Special Investigations Division along with detectives served a search warrant at the Twins Beauty Salon located on Main Avenue, where authorities exposed a heroin mill on the business’ second floor.
According to reports more than 5,000 glassine envelopes of heroin, packaging materials, scales and other paraphernalia were found.
Martin Ellen, 44, man identified as running the mill, is said to turn himself in today according to authorities.
A search warrant was also served at Ellen's home but officials did not find anything.
