Police in Newark are on the search for the driver of a vehicle that fled a traffic stop overnight in Newark.
According to preliminary reports, police attempted to pull over a vehicle in the vicinity of Norfolk and Orange streets that registration came back stolen after a check.
During the stop, police say the suspect sped away from the scene and was last observed traveling on Park Avenue in Newark's North Ward.
