NEWARK NJ: Police are looking for a 4-door silver Dodge Stratus with a reported NJ license play number "VKY-40Z" that fled a motor vehicle stop a short time ago in Newark's West Ward.
The license plates are possibly fictitious according to authorities.
Police have one person in custody after the suspects reportedly bailed from the vehicle on 14th Avenue and South 14th Street leading officers on a brief pursuit.
It is not immediately clear what the vehicle was being stopped for.
There were no injuries reported.
UPDATE 10:55 a.m. The unoccupied vehicle has been located.
