There is an active search for three Hispanic men who committed a violent robbery in the city's North Ward a short time ago.
Police were called to the area of Roseville Ave. at Bloomfield Ave. at around 6:15 p.m. on reports of a robbery in progress when they arrived to find the victim suffering injury after being attacked then robbed of a large sum of cash.
According to reports, two of the suspects wore white t-shirts, while the other fled on a bicycle. Police believe that one of the suspects goes by the name "Chino" and the other "Kevin"
The victim required immediate medical attention.
UPDATE 6:34 p.m. Police caught up with one of the suspects that fled on a bicycle in the area of 6th Street and 7th Street.
