Authorities are searching for a vehicle occupied by several suspects that committed an armed robbery and a shooting a short time ago in the city.
Police are looking for 2-3 black males reportedly occupying a SILVER or LIGHT colored JEEP CHEROKEE with tinted windows that committed an armed robbery at gunpoint on Cedar Ave. at Tremont Ave. shortly before 1 a.m.
The vehicle is also wanted for a reported shooting that happened at around 4 a.m. in the 300 block of South Orange Ave.
Please watch your surroundings if you are walking to work or waiting at bus stops this morning.
UPDATE 5:36 a.m. An armed robbery at gunpoint was committed a short time ago in the area of South 7th Street and 12th Ave. A blue or grey minivan occupied by at least two black males fled the scene.
