Police in Elizabeth are on the search for several suspects who fled from a vehicle after crashing into a car in the city this afternoon.
The incident happened at around 2:10 p.m. in the area of Third and Franklin where authorities said a black Mercedes lost control and slammed into a parked vehicle at that location.
Two male suspects, possibly armed with a weapon, quickly exited the vehicle and sprinted away on foot.
Residents in the area said that the suspects appeared to be juveniles.
There were no serious injuries reported.
