A strong armed robbery caught on surveillance tape has police searching for several suspects responsible.
The incident happened on Elm Street (a close distance to East Side High School) where several male suspects were seen on tape allegedly participating in a strong armed robbery of a male victim, then running from the scene a little after 6 p.m.
The victim did not suffer any injuries after one of the suspects was seen struggling with the victim then slamming him onto the concrete making off with the victim's cell phone.
A short time earlier, an official at East Side High School contacted authorities reporting several male suspects in the area committing strong armed robberies near the school.
It is not immediately clear if the suspects that are seen on camera are responsible for the reported robberies near the school.
The ages of the suspects couldn't be confirmed by witnesses in the area.
There is an investigation underway.
