Authorities in Paterson informed hospitals in the region to look out for possible gunshot victims as they investigate the motive behind a shots fired incident that occurred in the city on Saturday morning.
Gunfire erupted in the vicinity of 65 North 6th Street at approximately 2:50 a.m. sending police to the scene where they canvassed the area for victims and possible suspects.
Units searching the area found multiple shell casings but there were no victims located according to authorities.
Officers located about a half dozen shell casings according to reports.
The suspects remain at-large.
