Police Search for Suspect Responsible for East 28th Street Stabbing in Paterson
Police in Paterson are on the search for a man wanted for a violent stabbing incident that happened in a section of the city Saturday afternoon.
According to reports, at approximately 2:50 p.m., police responded to reports of an injured person in the 200 block of East 28th Street.
Upon arrival, police found the victim suffering a non-fatal stab wound.
The victim was transported to St. Joseph's Hospital for treatment and expected to recover according to police.
Police say the suspect is an Asian male with long hair who fled the scene in a white vehicle, believed to be a Honda.
The motive for the attack is under investigation.
