Police Search for Newark Woman Wanted for Robbery

Newark Police officials report that an arrest warrant has been issued for Natasha Fullwood, 37, of Newark, who robbed and assaulted a victim on July 8. 

According to police, officers responded to a call about a robbery that occurred around 10:39 a.m. at the Tremont Food Plaza in the 100 block of Tremont Avenue.  

Police said that the female victim was inside the store when Fullwood punched the woman in the face and threw her to the ground, where another female suspect took her purse.  

According to police officials, Fullwood, also charged with conspiracy, is described as 5’5” and 145 pounds with brown eyes and a light complexion. 

Police said that she was wearing camo pants, a pink tank top, and white Nike Dunks sneakers.  

After the robbery and assault, Fullwood and the other suspect fled westbound on Tremont Avenue in a black Chevrolet Impala driven by a Black male who was wearing a white shirt, white pants with silver and white sneakers, and a black fanny pack. 

According to police, the second female suspect, described as 5’7’’ with a dark brown complexion, was wearing a pink dress and a black shower cap and was carrying a brown purse. 

Newark Police officials urge anyone with information about the suspect’s whereabouts to call the Police Division’s  24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477).
