Police Search for Newark Man Missing Since August

Police in Newark are searching for a 49-year-old man who was officially reported missing on November 11.

According to police, Salustino Santiago, who also goes by the name of Jimmy, went missing from the 100 block of Chancellor Avenue in Newark.

Police say Santiago’s sister said he would disappear from time to time and the last known contact with him was in August.

Mr. Santiago is described as a Hispanic male, weighing approximately 160-180lbs and standing about 6'0 tall. He has brown eyes and a bald head.

Police say that the person who reported him as missing was unsure of the clothes he was wearing but noted that he has several tattoos and a "golf ball size lump" on the back of his head.

His mental and physical states are both described as "good," police said.

According to police, Mr. Salustion frequents Brooklyn.
