Police Search for Missing Newark Man with Dementia

Police officials in Newark request the public’s assistance in locating Mr. Ernest Palmer, 56, of Newark, who was reported missing Tuesday from the 200 block of Chadwick Avenue.

Police say, Mr. Palmer, who has dementia, was last seen at around 1:30 p.m. and is described as 5’7” tall, 50 lbs.

According to police, Palmer has a medium brown complexion, a gray beard and a bald head. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, black pants and black sneakers. Mr. Palmer also has two hospital bands on his wrists.

While police are actively searching for Mr. Palmer, we seek the public’s help in quickly locating him and returning him to his family.
