Police in Newark are on the search for a man who tied up an injured dog to a truck then abandoned the animal outside the Humane Society.
According to Humane Society officials, their CCTV camera captured video of the unidentified man responsible for tying the dog with a severe medical condition to one of their vehicles gas tank in the 100 block of Evergreen on Thursday.
Officials say the dog needed emergency surgery for a perforated rectum.
