Police Search for Man Wanted for Robbing Newark Ironbound Business

Authorities in Newark requests the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with a business robbery that occurred this morning -Saturday-.

According to police shortly after 4:30 a.m., a male suspect used a hammer to break the glass door at King Wireless, located at 156 Ferry Street.

Police say the suspect stole cell phones from the store’s display case before fleeing the scene.

While police are actively searching for this suspect, we seek the public’s assistance in quickly identifying him and removing him from our streets.

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
