Surrounding municipalities have been notified and asked to be on the lookout for a vehicle that was stolen from a neighborhood in West Orange Wednesday evening.
According to preliminary reports, police were called to the single digit block of Meeker Street to take a statement of a missing vehicle at approximately 10 p.m.
Upon their arrival, they were told that someone stole a maroon 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee from that location. The owner did not leave the keys in the vehicle according to reports.
Police are continuing to investigate.
