Police reported no injuries in a shots-fired incident in a section of Newark Thursday evening.
It happened around 9:47 p.m. in the 60's block of South 12th Street near 9th Avenue.
Officers arrived and found shell casings in the residential community, but after a search, police located no victims.
The suspect fled the scene, and no arrests have been reported.
Newark Police will handle the investigation.
