Police Release Photos of Suspected Hit-and-Run Car That Struck Juvenile Pedestrian in Kearny

The Kearny Police Department is actively investigating a hit-and-run incident that occurred on Nov. 30th at approximately 8:05 a.m. at the intersection of Bergen Avenue and Davis Avenue.

Police say a juvenile pedestrian was struck by a vehicle that immediately fled from the scene without stopping to check on or render aid to the victim.

The vehicle - which was last seen fleeing west on Bergen Avenue towards Kearny Avenue - appears to be dark blue or black four-door sedan and might be a Subaru. The vehicle has a sunroof, has a dark mismatched wheel on the rear passenger side and may have a front driver side fog light that doesn't work.
