Police in Newark recovered a vehicle that was reported carjacked in the city's North Ward on Monday night.
Officers were notified of the reported carjacking that took place in the vicinity of 7th Avenue and Cutler Street.
When police arrived at the scene, they searched for a 2012 BMW with NJ license plate number "B93-HTA".
Officers canvassing the neighborhood recovered the vehicle in the vicinity of 7th and Mount Prospect avenues about five minutes later.
The victim did not suffer severe physical injuries, according to reports.
Police say the suspect remains at large.
