Police Place all Newark Schools on Lookout after Trespasser Unlawfully Enters Elementary School

Newark Police has made all city school lookouts as they search for a man who they said entered an elementary school illegally.

According to police officials, on February 9th at approximately 3:05 p.m., the suspect was seen entering the Dr. William Horton School without authorization.

Police described the unidentified man as 5’6” tall with black hair and eyes.

Police said the man was last observed wearing a grey baseball cap, grey t-shirt and shorts.

The man has facial tattoos police said.

While detectives are actively searching for this individual, they seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating and identifying him.

This investigation is ongoing.
