Newark Police officials request the public’s help identifying a suspect, one of two men who robbed a victim on July 24.

Police responded to a call about the robbery that occurred at approximately 3:07 a.m. in the 100 block of Christie Street.

According to police, the victim was walking on that street when two men started following him.

Moments later, one of the men pushed the victim to the ground, punched him in the face, and took his wallet containing several hundred dollars.
