Police Make Arrest in Fatal Jersey City Shooting

Authorities have announced the arrest of a 26-year-old Jersey City man wanted in connection with The Sept. 19 shooting.

According to Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez, Monday police responded to 391 Forrest Street at approximately 10 a.m. for a report of a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers found Ahmin Colclough, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to Jersey City Medical Center were he was pronounced dead, officials said.

Days after the fatal shooting, officials announced that David Cooper, 26, was arrested Wednesday evening and charged with the murder of Colclough.

His bail was set at $1 million, Hudson County Prosecutor's Office spokesman Ray Worrall said.
