A police-involved shooting that occurred at a location in Trenton has a man fighting for his life this evening.
According to police, the shooting happened around 4 p.m. in the 1900 block of Calhoun Street.
Mercer County Prosecutor's Office officials say Trenton officer was involved in an encounter with an adult male suspect that resulted in officers opening fire on the unidentified man.
EMS rushed the man to an area hospitalized where he remains in critical condition.
The NJ Attorney General’s Office has launched an investigation into the shooting.
