Police Investigating Woodbridge Teen’s Death

Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew C. Carey and Chief Thomas Bryan of the Edison Police Department announced that police are investigating the apparent drug-related death of a 17-year-old girl.

The teen, identified as Rose Carlin, 17, of the Fords section of Woodbridge, was found in a motel room in Edison on February 23.

Detective Michael S. Michalski of the Edison Police Department and Detective Gregory Morris of the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office are investigating.

The investigation preliminarily has shown that the death may be drug-related, but the cause will not be determined until an autopsy is completed by the Middlesex County Medical Examiner.
