A reported strong armed robbery that occurred in the city late last night has police investigating.
According to reports, police responded to the 100 block of Passaic Avenue after receiving reports of a robbery in progress.
Units arrived to the scene where they located the victim who told authorities that a male suspect approached armed with a knife and a bat then demanded personal possessions.
The victim reportedly gave the suspect a chain, wallet, and a brief case before the man left on foot reports said.
There were no physical injuries reported.
Livingston Police are investigating.
