Jersey City police are actively investigating a stabbing incident that left a female victim injured on Monday morning.
According to preliminary information, authorities were called to the scene at 135 Amity Street at approximately 3:25 a.m. in response to reports of an injured person.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a female victim lying in the street with stab wounds.
She was quickly transported to Jersey City Medical Center for medical treatment while detectives scoured the area for evidence and potential suspects.
Currently, no arrests have been made in connection with the case.
Authorities are diligently working to determine the motive behind the stabbing and gather any additional information that may aid in their investigation.
