Police in Newark investigated shots fired reports that occurred during the overnight hours in the West Ward.
According to police, several 911 calls reporting shots fired in the 900 block of South Orange Avenue had police on the scene at around 12:15 a.m. where after a search of the area, officers did not find any evidence that a shooting occurred or victims at that location.
Police say property damage found at that location was from a Monday's shots fired incident.
The Monday's shooting remains under investigation.
