Newark Police officials are looking for a man who they said fired a gun in Newark’s Central Ward Friday night.
Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé said, just before 9:30 p.m., on Friday, September 2, Newark Police responded to the 700 block of Wicker Court on a call of a man firing a handgun.
Upon arrival, police located shell casings.
According to police, no injuries have been reported and no property damage was observed by responding officers.
This incident remains under investigation.
