Police are investigating an armed robbery that was reported at a Quick Chek convenience store in Middlesex overnight.
According to preliminary reports, police were called to the store that's located in the 100 block of Harris Avenue to investigate an armed robbery report.
Units arriving at the scene began a search for a black male suspect who was last seen wearing dark clothing and armed with a silver handgun when he committed the robbery.
The suspect reportedly fled the scene in a dark-colored vehicle immediately after the incident reports said.
The amount of proceeds taken during the robbery has not been released.
There were no physical injuries reported.
