Police in newark are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a location in the city overnight.
The robbery was reported in the vicinity of Pennsylvania Avenue and Thomas Street before 3:15 a.m. where police responded to reports of an armed robbery in progress.
According to preliminary reports, the woman was approached by two black males who were armed with a gun when they demanded personal possessions before they fled the scene in a silver or light colored vehicle according to reports.
The victim did not suffer physical reports.
The incident remains under investigation.
