Police in Passaic are investigating a stabbing incident that left a person injured overnight in Passaic.
According to preliminary reports, police checked a residence on Rutgers Place for evidence and a possible suspect after the victim of a stabbing entered St. Mary's Hospital suffering a wound to the back.
Hospital officials contacted police shortly before 11:45 p.m. after the victim was self-transported to the hospital's emergency room.
The victim's injuries were not reported as life-threatening.
No arrests have been reported at this time.
