Authorities are investigating a shooting incident that occurred just before midnight in the 500 block of East Jersey Street.
Responding officers found an unidentified individual with injuries believed to be from gunfire. 
The victim was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment; their condition has not been confirmed.
Police escorted the victim alongside EMS personnel to the medical center. The incident remains under active investigation.
