Police Investigate Overnight Car Crashes Where Occupants Fled the Scene in Newark

Several overnight motor vehicle crashes that happened in the city has Newark Police investigating. 

Police responded to the 100 block of 12th Ave. shortly before midnight on a report of a crash that involved two minivans. Police arrived where they found occupants of one of the vehicles had fled the scene. 

At around 3:30 a.m., a crash in the area of Madison Ave. and South 17th Street  had a vehicle collide into several parked cars. The occupants fled the scene. 

A crash that occurred in the area of North 6th Street and 6th Ave. at around 3:25 a.m.  sent first responders to the scene where a vehicle struck a parked car and a fence. The occupants fled the scene. 

There were no immediate reports of injuries in any of the incidents.
